ifilm English to air final episode for 'The Sound of Rain'

ifilm English channel has set to air final episode for the series 'The Sound of Rain' on Saturday.

The final episode for the series 'The Sound of Rain', directed by Hossein Soheilizadeh, will be aired on July 28, 2018.

'The Sound of Rain' tells the story of Taha. He is a successful businessman and a widower living with his five year old daughter.

On a business trip to Turkey, he gets framed for smuggling drugs and sentenced to life in prison, so he entrusts everything he’s got, including his daughter, to his nephew.

After twenty years, Taha gets released and comes back home, but things aren’t exactly as he’d left them, and he soon realizes he may have put his trust in the wrong people.

The series cast list includes Sorayya Qasemi, Mehran Ahmadi, Siavash Kheirabi, Sam Derakhshani, Sepideh Khodaverdi and Hamid-Reza Pegah.

'The Sound of Rain', produced in 2013, will be replaced by 'Bewilderment' made by Ali Mohammadi-Bonakdar.
